History
Good Shepherd Convent Kindergarten was established in 1954 by the Good Shepherd Sisters. The mission was to provide quality pre-school education to the children in Singapore. Today, many parents who are former students have enrolled their children in the kindergarten.

The Good Shepherd Sisters
Moved by compassionate love, the Good Shepherd Sisters of Singapore-Malaysia Province committed themselves to live the Good Shepherd Mission in an evolving partnership with lay staff, volunteers, benefactors and many others who share the Good Shepherd Spirit and Charism.

Our Philosophy
Good Shepherd Convent Kindergarten, operating under the direction of the Good Shepherd Sisters, seeks to offer the children in its care an educational programme that is geared towards their total development.

The Kindergarten’s ethos is founded on the Philosophy of the Sisters, “One Person is of more value than the whole world” and as such, every individual child is to be respected and valued.

Being aware of God’s love and his/her own uniqueness, he/she may grow into a caring, creative and responsible person, able to love and trust oneself and others in this challenging world.

We contribute our best to making the children’s time in the Kindergarten a happy experience by taking care to provide a healthy learning environment in which every child is enabled to develop his/her potential.
